In this sign, we see Jesus as the Savior who brings light to the world. Initially, we see Jesus heal the man born blind. Still, more importantly, the healing directs us all to spiritual healing that we all need—encouraged to acknowledge the darkness in our lives and the ever-present need for Jesus, the Light of the World.
